Coupled with on-the-job work experience in workplaces such as Domino’s, Target, Woolworths and independent small businesses, ReadyUp Skills works closely with individuals and employers to build confidence and assist to breakdown barriers faced by people with a disability when looking for suitable and meaningful employment.

You can also complete the ‘ReadyUp Career Skill Set’ and receive a Statement in Attainment that counts towards work and further study.

Units of Study include;

• BSBTWK201- Work effectively with others  
• BSBPEF202- Plan and apply time management
• SIRXWHS002- Contribute to workplace health and safety   
• SIRXCOM001- Communicate in the workplace to support team and customer outcomes
• First Aid & CPR

Get accredited! The ReadyUp Career Skillset is a Statement of Attainment in; Plan and Apply Time Management, Work Effectively with Others, Communicate in the workplace and Workplace Health & Safety PLUS your First Aid Certificate!

Develop an understanding of how to be safe on the road, take care of your car and work towards your learners permit.

At the same time we learn about

• How to share the road with other vehicles
• Seat positioning and blind spots
• Buying and selling a car
• Alcohol and other drugs
• Taking care of our car
• Distractions in and outside of our vehicles

Thursday evenings from 3-8pm is a chance for everyone to catch up without any of the heavy stuff. Just fun. Activities currently include; “Gaming Night” and “The Great Snitzel Review”.

Build your capacity to understand how creativity can help you at work and home with current projects such as; coding, videography, websites, YouTube, podcasts, design and illustration.
